Start your engines, European Autowerks family! The countdown is officially on, and 2026 is coming in hot.
From August 22nd to 29th, 2026, our very own Steve will be hitting the outback once again for the annual Trek 4 Kidz. This isn’t just any ordinary run—this year marks a massive milestone as Trek 4 Kidz turns 30. That’s three decades of dust, laughs, and helping sick kids smile by raising vital funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
For Steve, this cause is incredibly close to his heart. He has been driving in this event for 9 years, dedicating his time and passion to making a difference. This year, Steve and Shaun are teaming up to pilot the XG95 outback car, which we are incredibly proud to sponsor alongside Bursons Auto Parts Narellan, Kiwi Service Solutions, and Resolution Smash Repairs.
The 2026 Route: Water & Wine
The 30th-anniversary trek is guaranteed to be one for the history books. The epic outback journey kicks off in Wagga Wagga and will take the teams through a spectacular route:
- Barham
- Renmark
- Nuriootpa (for a well-deserved layday!)
- Wentworth
- Hillston
…before finally rolling across the finish line in Parkes! It promises to be the biggest, loudest, and dustiest celebration yet.
How You Can Help Us Reach Our Goal
We have set a fundraising goal of $3,000 to support the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Reaching this goal is entirely possible with the help of our amazing community. It only takes:
- 600 people donating $5, or
- 300 people donating $10.
